All deliveries are made by APC. We deliver to Mainland UK (England, Wales excluding offshore and mainland Scotland) addresses only. The standard deliver charge is £5.95.
We are unable to deliver to PO Box numbers including BFPO.
Please note a signature is required upon delivery, you must be aged 18 or over to sign for delivery of alcoholic drinks. If you’re not available to take the delivery we may leave your parcel with a neighbour if you have specified to do so in the order notes box.
Where specific delivery instructions are given e.g. leave in porch, round the back etc, you are entirely responsible for goods being received where our couriers have a POD (proof of delivery), and/or inform us that the goods were ‘left as instructed’. You must ensure that any specific delivery instructions given are correct, and that the information provided, ensures a safe and accurate delivery. If goods go ‘missing’, no refunds or replacements will be issued.
If the delivery on the first attempt is unsuccessful, you will be left with a card for your acknowledgement that the delivery was unsuccessful, You can re-arrange your delivery, or arrange to collect your parcel. please follow the instructions on your card.
All necessary precautions are taken while delivering your parcel to you by our delivery services, your parcels will be handled as fragile from our premises to you. If the parcel has been damaged in transit our delivery company will not deliver the parcel to you, they will inform us and return the parcel back to our premises, we will then inform you and send out another parcel.
While every precaution will be taken to deliver the Products safely, some breakages may occur. In this event we will replace the damaged Products providing the damage occurred whilst Products are in transit or upon delivery. Any damage occurred once Products have been delivered and signed for are the liability of The Buyer. Modha Ales shall not be liable for any costs incurred for whatever reason after delivery of the Products is deemed to have taken place. Modha Ales shall not be liable for any failure to deliver the Products arising from circumstances beyond our control.
All parcels must be examined on delivery for breakages and damage any damage must be notified at the point of delivery. In the unlikely event the parcel arrives damaged, please do not sign for the parcel, once the parcel has been signed for you have deemed the parcel as satisfactory, and therefore Modha Ales and our delivery company cannot accept liability for any damage.
You will be automatically notified by email or text message when your item(s) has been despatched and also informed of when you can expect delivery.
Please note these are updated only when parcels are scanned at the couriers UK wide depots.
Modha Ales shall not be liable to The Buyer or be deemed to be in breach of the Contract by reason of any delay in delivery or in performing, or any failure to perform, any of Modha Ales obligations in relation to the Products, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond Modha Ales reasonable control.
If you or their chosen recipient, is not at home to accept delivery, our couriers will try and leave the order with your neighbour/s and a card will be left to acknowledge this. Order/Parcel/s are not left unless the carrier can obtain a signature or, where we are given specific delivery instructions at the time of order to include leave in the porch/behind garage, in wheelie bin etc. This is at your own risk. This information may be given during our checkout section by filling in the ‘order notes’ field, and your instructions will be carried out automatically and efficiently.
When placing your order please include a contact mobile number, which will allow us to send you tracking information and the couriers to contact you should there be any problems finding your address.
When you place your order, you will be asked to leave delivery instruction in the order notes box. If no delivery instruction is inputted, your order will ALWAYS be sent signed for, which means a signature is required before the couriers will leave your parcel safe. If you know you’re not going to be home, please get in touch with our courier service to rearrange your delivery for a suitable day. Our courier company will only attempt to deliver your parcel twice before it is taken back to the local depot for collection they will hold the parcel for up to 5 working days, if you fail to contact the delivery company within 48 hours from receiving the calling card to rearrange the delivery, the parcel will be sent back to our premises. Extra charges may apply for re-delivery if your parcel is returned back to Modha Ales.
Additional delivery charge of £5.95 will only apply per parcel/quantity if sending two parcels or more to multiple delivery addresses, if additional quantities are added and are going to the same address then no additional delivery charge will be added.
