Where do you deliver beer to and how much does it cost?
We deliver to mainland UK that includes; England, Wales and Mainland Scotland.
The delivery charge is £3.95
Who will deliver my beer?
Your parcel will be delivered by APC, APC is the UK’s largest delivery network, with more than 115 depots nationwide. They specialise in fragile and liquid services. Which makes them the perfect choice to deliver your order.
Do you put a receipt in the box?
The receipt will be emailed to you, and not included in the box in case it’s a gift.
How long will my beer take to be delivered?
We aim to have your order delivered to you within 3 working days from order confirmation.
What if there are any delays on my order?
Please allow up to 3 working days to receive your parcel, if there are any delays we will contact you on the number you have provided.
Do you deliver on weekends?
No unfortunately, we do not presently arrange for weekend delivery.
What if I don’t have a PayPal account?
We use PayPal to process our online payments; many customers prefer this method as they are secure. If you don’t have a PayPal account simply put in your credit card details this is all done through the PayPal website we don’t see any of this. If you already have a PayPal account then input your email and password, none of this is stored on our website it’s all done through PayPal.
If the beer is damaged when it arrives, what should I do?
If the parcel is damaged in transit our delivery company will not deliver the parcel to you, they will inform us and return the parcel back to the premises, we will then inform you and send out another parcel. Please check the parcel for damage, in the unlikely event that the parcel arrives damaged, please don’t sign for it once you’ve signed it that means you’ve accepted it as satisfactory.
How do I use my discount code?
To use your discount code simply fill your cart and enter the code when prompted at the checkout. The discount will be deducted from the basket- but do check before you complete the order. If there are any problems, get in touch.
Can you leave my parcel with the next door neighbour if I’m not at home?
Yes we can leave the parcel with a neighbour if you have specified to do so in the order instruction box, please note we need a signature and can’t leave the parcel with anyone under 18 years old.
Can I track my order?
Yes, you will be able to track your parcel using your consignment number provided by our courier service, You can always track your order via the APC website.
Why do I have to enter my date of birth?
We ask for the date of birth purely because we need to verify your age, you need to be aged 18 or over to purchase alcohol in the UK.
What if there are any delays on my order?
Please allow up to 3 working days once you receive your confirmation email to receive your parcel, if there are any delays we will contact you on the number you have provided.
I’ve missed my delivery what should I do?
Don’t worry, if you have missed your delivery you should have received a calling card, please follow instructions on the card and re-arrange delivery.
I’ve changed my mind, can I cancel my order?
Of course you can cancel by calling us or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org if you decide to cancel prior to the order being dispatched you will endure no charges and a full refund will be made back to you, if you change your mind after the order has been dispatched; you have 7 days once you receive your order to cancel, please note that all products must be sent back in the same sellable condition as when processed at Modha Ales premises. We cannot refund any orders that have come back to us with products missing or damaged.
My parcel was left out in the rain, the boxes are damaged, and can I get a refund?
Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund as it was left where the delivery driver was instructed to do so. That is left at your own risk we can’t take responsibility for any losses or damage, if this was not instructed by you at the time of order in your order notes, please get in touch, so we can investigate further with our delivery company.
I have ordered 12 x 500ml bottles but have changed my mind can I increase my order?
Of course; you can please call us, or email us with your order number and we’ll amend your order.
I won’t be home to take delivery can someone else at home sign for it?
Of course, as long as the person signing for the parcel is aged 18 or over the delivery can be made.
Can I put my home telephone number down as a contact?
We prefer mobile contact number which will allow us to send you a tracking information and the couriers to contact you should there be any difficulties finding your address.
I haven’t received my despatch text message yet.
Your despatch text message should have been sent out to you as soon as the courier service collected from our premises. Please check we hold all your correct contact details, if not please get in touch and we can update it for our courier service and for future orders. You can always track your order via the APC website.
I want to order different pack sizes, do I have to pay more delivery charges?
If your order is to be delivered to the same delivery address then no, you won’t pay any more for delivery, if additional quantities are added and are going to the same address then no additional delivery charge will be added. Additional delivery charges of £5.95 will only apply per parcel/quantity if sending two parcels or more to multiple delivery addresses.
